The Serenity Floor Lamp features an iconic design inspired by the renowned Japanese-American artist Isamu Noguchi. Its sculptural form and delicate paper shade exude a timeless elegance that adds an artistic touch to any space.
The washi paper shade of our Serenity Floor Lamp gracefully radiates a soothing, subdued light similar to that of natural sunlight, creating a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. Crafted with expert precision and carefully-sourced materials, each lamp is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece demonstrating the beauty of minimalism and harmony.

You asked, we answered.
How are you different from other paper lamp sellers?
We care deeply about quality, craftsmanship, and the details that make each piece special. While many sellers use the cheapest materials to cut costs, our products are made to last, and our artisans have, on average, over 10 years of experience making paper lamps.
We work with the same manufacturer trusted by premium design retailers like DWR (Design Within Reach), and we source our washi paper from the same legacy supplier that provides paper for Noguchi’s original designs.
What kind of paper do you use?
We currently use three types of paper across our collection: rice paper, cotton paper, and Japanese washi paper.
- Rice paper has a delicate, translucent quality that gives each piece an airy elegance—perfect for those seeking a budget-friendly option with a refined touch.
- Cotton paper is sturdier than rice paper, making it ideal for more sculptural or complex lamp shapes that require added structure.
- Japanese washi paper is known for its soft, serene diffusing effect. We source our washi from a heritage paper maker in Gifu Prefecture, Japan.

How do I know what kind of paper is used on my lamp?
Please check the "Dimensions and Materials" section on its product description page.
Are you affiliated with Noguchi or The Noguchi Museum?
No, we are not affiliated with Isamu Noguchi or The Noguchi Museum. Our paper lamps are inspired by his iconic designs and pay tribute to their timeless beauty—but we’ve also added our own design elements in the lampshades to help you create a warm, inviting home without the gallery-level price tag.
